The Black Bears’ Pathfinders and Rovers will be backpacking May 9th-10th<\/strong>.\u00a0 Please sign up below if your scout is planning to attend, all adults should also sign up.<\/p>\n

Pathfinders and Rovers are expected to bring their own personal gear, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mat, uniforms, etc. in a backpacking\u00a0backpack.\u00a0 They will also need to bring their own appropriate\u00a0trail food.\u00a0 Troop leadership will have small stoves and pots to be able to make hot water, but your scout needs\u00a0to have everything else they need. REI sells pre-packaged dehydrated meals that are lightweight for camping, however, Ramen noodles, trail mix, granola bars and sandwiches are also good options.<\/p>\n

Scouts will be hiking a few\u00a0miles to the campsite and back out to a pick up point. Emails will go out with instructions for drop off and pick up points.<\/p>\n
